Last year I attended my very first hackathon. It was hosted by Microsoft and Adesso, and focused on developing Windows 8 RT and Windows Phone apps. I took the opportunity and tried my luck on the WinJS HTML5 framework for Metro apps. Being completely new to WinJS, creating properly working page transitions already counted as huge success in my book. In the photos, you can see me showing off my attempts in porting my AngularJS colour controls to the Windows app.
